About the Role:
- Location: Topeka, KS
- Dates: August 11, 2025 May 22, 2026
We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to primarily focus on evaluations and re-evaluations for students across Kindergarten through 12th grade. This role involves a caseload of approximately 100 evaluations and re-evaluations. You will play a crucial role in gathering comprehensive information through various means, including formal assessments, direct observations, and valuable input from parents and teachers. Your expertise will be vital in determining eligibility for special education services and recommending appropriate adjustments to existing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students (K-12).
- Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of psychological and educational assessments.
- Observe students in various school settings to gather behavioral and academic data.
- Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to gather relevant information and discuss findings.
- Interpret assessment results and synthesize information into clear, concise reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, presenting evaluation findings and making recommendations for services and interventions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data-driven intervention plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure in the state of Kansas is required.
- Must be willing to obtain licensure in the working state.
Compensation:
This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $45-$55+ based on experience. We recognize the value of your expertise and commitment to student well-being.
